 3rd Degree Releasing All-Star 'Dreamgirlz' Sequel
Third Degree Films is expecting big things from Dreamgirlz 2, the all-star sequel to the
highest-grossing release in the studio's five-year history. Directed by Mike Quasar, the high-def, all-sex extravaganza features some of
today's most popular female performers. The cast includes Sasha Grey, Tori Black, Alexis
Texas, Alektra Blue, and three of the adult industry's all-time greats: Lisa Ann,
Francesca Le’, and Julia Ann.
Director Quasar told AVN he made sure the movie's budget
went to the most important resource: the girls.
"It's not about a lot of dialogue or expensive
backdrops or set-ups," he said. "This is about the girls, because they are the
reason people buy these movies. And we got the best of the best. It was a great
shoot."
Lisa Ann described the atmosphere on set as pure magic.
"While we were shooting, there was a sense that we
were all part of something special," she said. "It was one of those strange
experiences where the chemistry on set was just out of control."
Third Degree president Joey Wilson predicts the follow-up
will outperform the original; that's no mean feat, especially considering the current
economy.
"We hit out of the park with Dreamgirlz," Wilson
said. "It’s hard for me to believe it, but all signs indicate that Dreamgirlz 2
will be even more successful than its predecessor. The success will definitely be related
to the all-star cast that we were able to gather. I owe a debt of gratitude to everyone
involved."
