 K-Beech Launches Girl-818-Girl Line
K-Beech has revamped its 818XXX line to focus on the girl/girl market. The company's new
Girl-818-Girl signature series debuts with the release of director Rick Davis' Who Let the
Cats Out?."Initially, the 818XXX series was
designed to cater to a different audience," said K-Beech head Kevin Beechum.
"The sex was on the edgier side, because the industry overall was going in that
direction at the time. Back in September of '08, we sat down with our sales
representatives and asked them to check with their buyers as to where things were at in
terms of what people wanted to see."
Based on the feedback from store buyers, Beechum decided to
pursue high-end girl/girl content. Multiple AVN Award nominee Davis took charge of the
creative direction for the line.
"I began contacting Penthouse Pets, Hustler Honeys,
cover girls and centerfold models that I knew, and asked them simply, 'Who would you like
to work with?'," Davis explained.
Who Let the Cats Out? shows the results of Davis's efforts.
The DVD stars Penthouse Pets Jana Cova, Brea Lynn, and Charlie Laine with Karlie Montana,
Mia Presley, Faye Reagan, Georgia Jones, Devi Emerson and Brooke Banner.
"This was one of the hottest casts I've seen
assembled," Davis said. "Nothing is more erotic than two smoking-hot babes
enjoying one another; I didn’t try and direct them, so much as get out of the way and
concentrate on capturing all the action. They were so hot and so much into each other;
tough job, but somebody had to do it."
