 Vouyer Media Ships Asa Akira Release
Vince Vouyer's Control Freaks, the first of four Vouyer Media movies featuring
newcomer Asa Akira. Akira is a stunning Japanese-American newcomer who gained a certain
amount of fame as a regular on the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show."I'm impressed with her," Vouyer told AVN. "We worked
out a deal with her agent to shoot her exclusively for a limited amount of scenes."
Control Freaks will be followed in the months
ahead by Van Styles' Fetish Fucks 3, and Donnie Cabo's Make Me Creamy 4
and Bombshell Bottoms 4.
Akira, who is 23, 5'2" tall, with 32C naturals, made
her boy-girl debut with Travis Knight for Gina Lynn Productions, shot on the East Coast.
She had already done several girl-girl scenes, mostly with Lynn.
"Boy-girl, I'm brand new," she told AVN. "I
just always wanted to do it and I didn't have the guts until now. So this is like pretty
exciting."
In Control Freaks, Asa works with Jerry and
Anthony Rosano. Her other VM partners include Jordan Ash, Marco Banderas and Sascha.
A native New Yorker, Akira lived in Japan from age 6 to age
13, attending American schools. She resides in New York and will most likely stay there,
since she doesn't drive. "It's really different here-really, really different. But
the weather is beautiful, people are nice, everyone's relaxed."
On Bubba the Love Sponge, Akira was known as the Show Whore
(and is so billed in IVD's recent "unrated" release Bubba Raw Vol. 1).
She said she hasn't appeared on the show since last fall, "but they call me once in a
while to check in. I'm still good friends with everyone. I was on the show maybe once or
twice a week for about a year. I got to go to all the meet-&-greets, do crazy stunts.
And I got to meet a lot of hot girls and do stuff with them. It was a lot of fun."
But, she added, "This is a lot more
fun."
