 Red Light District Staffer Does Porn
For almost two years, Trista Lace sat behind a desk in Red Light District's accounting
department, never dreaming that some day she'd be on the cover of one of their DVDs.But there she is, smiling from the box of Heavy Loads, a BBW video.
Trista is 26, 5'5" tall and tips the scales at 235
lbs. At Red Light her job is production payroll, accounts payable. "I pay everyone
that's involved in the actual filming"-which in this instance included herself.
As she told AVN, "Mr. Pete came to me one day and
mentioned he was making a Big Girl movie and wanted me to be in it. It took me a little
while to say yes because I never really thought about doing it before. And you had to of
course think about the whole family aspect of it. It took me about a week to say
yes."
She said the scene, in which she performs with Mr. Pete,
"went really well. I was actually more nervous before everything started. The day of
the shoot I wasn't nervous at all. It was kind of surprising to me. I didn't even realize
the camera was there."
Encouraged by the experience she did a second scene, for
Zero Tolerance, partnered by James Deen. It appears in Waist Watchers 3, also in stores
now. In both she has anal sex, which she does in real life and enjoys.
Lace, born and raised in the Valley, was well aware of the
adult industry while growing up. She began working for Red Light in July 2006. She loves
spending time at the beach and has a particular fondness for country line dancing,
"one of my favorite things to do." She adds, "I'm pretty easygoing-not a
very high maintenance girl."
As far as her parents are concerned, she said, her scenes
are "still a secret." But she's already getting reaction from fans, through the
MySpace page she created for her alter ego. "I've gotten a lot of good feedback from
people that have actually seen the movie and are requesting that I do more scenes."
Although she considers her porn work a positive experience,
Trista has no desire to make it anything but an avocation, unlike former Red Light
employee DeBella, who turned herself into a full-time pornstar.
At this point she has no new scenes scheduled but declares
herself "perfectly open" to more work. "I enjoyed both scenes very
much-both fun days. And that's why I wouldn't mind doing another one again."
