 Wicked Pictures Ships HD DVD Version of Coming Home
Adult production company Wicked Pictures is now shipping the HD DVD edition of contract
actor/director Brad Armstrong’s multiple AVN Award-winning movie, Coming Home.
Boasting a new, 1080p vc-1 high definition anamorphic widescreen transfer.
Coming Home nabbed three trophies earlier this month at the 25th Annual AVN Awards at the
Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. Armstrong received a Best Actor — Video
award and Barrett Blade got the nod for Best Supporting Actor — Video. The movie was
also honored for its multi-platform rollout with a trophy for Best Overall Marketing
Campaign — Individual Project.On the eve of
Coming Home’s HD DVD release, Wicked announced that it is also seriously exploring
the Blu-ray DVD format as an additional platform for content delivery. “Wicked has
always been interested in Blu-ray, but at the time it was both cost prohibitive and almost
impossible to replicate,” said Wicked Manager Of DVD Production Jackie Ramos in a
prepared statement. “Recently the tide has changed, and it's become more readily
available to us. We plan on moving ahead with a Blu-ray release.”
Coming Home is a thoughtful examination of the Iraq War and
its impact on both those who serve and the loved ones they leave behind. The story follows
Brian Parsons (Armstrong), an auto mechanic whose past enlistment comes back to haunt him
as he receives the call to serve in the Iraq War, much the dismay of his girlfriend Sarah
(Kirsten Price).
In addition to the three leads, Coming Home stars Shyla Stylez, Brook Banner, Jada Fire,
Derrick Pierce, Marcus London and Tyler Knight.
