 Third Degree Releases Big Boob Orgy
Third Degree Films has released director Mike Quasar's Big Boob Orgy. Available on both
standard and HD DVD, the movie features a cast of 20 top porn starlets led by contract
girl Amy Ried.Big Boob Orgy
combines the high-end casting and production value of Third Degree's first HD release
Dreamgirlz with the orgy format seen in recent titles from sister label Black Ice.
“This is definitely the biggest
budget we’ve ever dealt with, because of all of the great talent,” Third Degree
President Joey Wilson told AVN. “As a little background, Dreamgirlz did phenomenal
for us. It was our first HD title and the first time we’ve done a talent loan, with
Adam and Eve contract girl Carmen Luvana signing on to star in it.”
Among the female performers featured in
Big Boob Orgy are Ried, Brooke Belle, Austin Kincaid, Ava Lauren, Whitney and Britney
Stevens, Rachel Solari, Katja Kassin, Candy Manson, Carmella Bing, Mikayla, Devon Lee and
Rachel Roxxx. Male talent includes Mick Blue, Mark Wood, Sascha, Strong, Marco Banderas,
Mr. Pete, James Deen, Joe Rock, Ralph Long, Eric Swiss and Mike Hash.
“This movie will signify the sort of
direction that Third Degree looks to be going in now,” Wilson said. “This is a
fantastic undertaking, and a lot of money spent, and Quasar really knocked it out of the
park. It’s my first orgy title. I’ve been paying close attention to Black Ice’s
orgy titles because they’ve been doing fantastic numbers with them. We’re not
necessarily moving away from gonzo, because these are our roots, but we’re seeing a
lot of the consumer trends going towards specialty, couples-friendly products — not
features — because of their bigger productions.”
The two-disc set offers something for
everyone, opening with a girl/girl scene between Reid and Belle and a boy/girl scene with
Carmella Bing and John Strong followed by the massive orgy scene.
Even the packaging is big, using the same
oversized box that Third Degree has created for some of its previous titles. “We’ve
had a lot of success with these bigger boxes,” Wilson said. “The box doesn’t
fit on a regular shelf, so stores usually have to set them out on their own, so they
become their own POP display, and that wasn’t something we even intended on. We’ve
also been doing a specialized o-card for the HD DVDs, and we’re taking a lot of the
time with packaging and I think it’s paying off.” Seconds hit the stores."
