Having shot the scenes last summer, the company had been in the process of editing and doing postproduction on the title and others until recently.

“We were producing a bunch of other videos so that we could hit the market at about the same time and keep our name out there,” Lupo said.

Featuring Gianna Lynn, in her first girl-girl scene, the title also includes Angelina Hart in one of her final scenes, along with Daryn Darbie and Sophia Sky.

“Gianna and Mikey Ballz put on quiet a strong performance in her boy-girl scene. Gianna is a superstar in the making,” Lupo said.

“Daryn Darbie was another good actress to have worked with. She took on both Johnny Irons and J.J. in some intense threesome action.”

Even as the title hits the street this week, the company plans to roll out Divalicious 2 and 3, in the next few weeks as World X wraps up production on another new series, Sex Club City, featuring a sex club where new members are initiated through a series of sex acts.

“We’re hoping that by the end of this year we’ll release the four Sex Club Citytitles and have eight more titles for next year,” Lupo said.

The company was established more than a year ago when Lupo and Ballz, who were working with a number of East Coast production companies, decided to go independent with their own features.

Ballz, who had been a mainstream male model, got into porn in 2003 after he was spotted by porn producers who were impressed with his physique.

“At first I wasn’t really sure if I wanted to do this, but after a while, I started to like the business,” Ballz said.

Lupo also joined the industry as a talent scout and then went on to produce and direct.

Finally, the couple joined forces and created World X Productions as a reality-based porn company.

“We do gonzo, but it’s all reality-type of stuff,” Lupo said.

The company has provided the models for Gina Lynn Productions and Joe Gallant’s New York-based Black Mirror Productions for their features.

“It’s not at all like it is in California. There are probably only about 12 companies out here so we knew we had a good chance to make a go of it,” she said.

Having also started its own talent agency under the World X umbrella, the couple is slowly building its talent pool and its business strategy at the same time.

“New York and the rest of the East Coast isn’t a huge market, but when people come out this way, they tend to contact us because they heard of us and they heard of our company so they want to work with us,” Lupo said.
